Wow, that was a quick response to my previous post/rant on this issue.
The Stevemeister via Apple released an open letter this morning to address the health rumours that have been used to short Apple’s stock over the last 9 months outside of the general economic situation. The main part of excerpt explaining the Stevemeister’s gauntness is as follows:
“Fortunately, after further testing, my doctors think they have found the cause—a hormone imbalance that has been “robbing” me of the proteins my body needs to be healthy. Sophisticated blood tests have confirmed this diagnosis.”
Thank frack that once & for all a definitive statement has arrived from the horse’s mouth, this has also helped push up the share price by about 4 dollars to approx $94 in current trade.
A word for the SEC too, if any futher rumours about the man’s health come about & as a result the share price moves in an unusual manner, investigations should be launched against the sources of these rumours & if prosecutions follow then so be it.
